My artistic approach involves reimagining traditional mediums by venturing boldly beyond conventional boundaries. From wrapping canvases in basketball leather to incorporating plush textures like fur and satin, or even integrating sculpted trophies, my creations are designed to leap visually off the canvas, offering a dynamic and tactile experience that captivates and challenges viewers.

My name is Kassandra Acosta, and I am a multi-disciplinary, mixed-media artist based in New York City, bringing over a decade of artistic experience to my work. I began my formal education at Parsons School of Design in 2011, where I studied integrated art, before transferring to the University of Miami in 2014 to pursue degrees in advertising and graphic design. I am renowned for my distinctive approach to art, transforming traditional 2D pieces into 3D masterpieces using conventional objects and materials. Additionally, I enrich my artwork with crystals and stones, chosen for their metaphysical properties, adding both visual allure and a deeper, spiritual element.
